# Forge

The Forge allows you to build advanced Divisions and unlock Ascension levels. Let’s look at the Forge panel first, and then explain it in detail.

The Forge features a box in the top-right corner that displays the current level. To increase the Forge level, you need to have TLM available. Simply click "**Pay TLM**" to upgrade, and the corresponding amount of TLM will be deducted from your WAX account.

The central screen, known as the "**Slot Shop**", displays the various levels of progress. Each forging level consists of five sub-levels for each section.

Let's look at the sections of the Forge and what these sub-levels are.

There are 4 slots available to unlock in the forge:

* **Divisions:** unlocks additional Divisions to use.
* **Supplies:** unlocks additional Supplies to use in Divisions.
* **Equipment:** unlocks additional Equipment to use in Divisions.
* **Lava Lux:** unlocks additional Lava Lux to use in Divisions.

These values are not cumulative. This means that if you have used 10 slots for one division and want another 10 for another Division, you will have to buy another 10 to reach a total of 20.

Payment for additional slots within each of these tiers is made in **DEF** **Token** and increases as more available slots are unlocked. Therefore, choose carefully how you build your divisions, as the forging cost could impact your ROI.

To unlock additional slots, simply click "**Buy**", and they will be deducted from your WAX account.

Finally we have a summary of our unlocked slots and those used, to give us a good idea of how we are optimizing our forge

The forge is considered an advanced game element and will also be used for other game mechanics.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://planetary-defense-guide.gitbook.io/guide/web-game/forge.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
