# Shop

Where to buy new equipment for your Loadout, browse Special items, and use Landfill to clear out worn-out gear.

Opening Shop shows your current Discord role at the top (for example, @Centurio) and confirms which items are authorized for you. The buttons below let you browse what's on offer: Rank 1, Rank 2, and Rank 3 for tiered equipment, Special for Gadgets and consumables, and Landfill to dump worn-out gear.

{% hint style="info" %}
Special Shop is only accessible if you have a minimum score of 2 on Web Game. Meanings at least 1 Division.

### Equipment Ranks

Rank 1, Rank 2, and Rank 3 open the shop's Equipment tiers, each covering all five gear slots — armor, head, hands, feet, and weapon — plus a Bonus set once you have the full Rank equipped. Rank 3 offers the best stats and is recommended once you have a strong Division able to afford it; Rank 1 and Rank 2 are the more affordable stepping stones. Completing a full Tier's set unlocks its Bonus set: +10% Success Rate for Rank 1, +20% for Rank 2, and +30% for Rank 3.

#### Rank 1

#### Rank 2

#### Rank 3

<table><thead><tr><th width="176">Item</th><th width="149">Success Effect</th><th>Durability</th><th>Slot</th><th>Cost</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Cybernetic suit</td><td>+18%</td><td>139</td><td>armor</td><td>19,278 Coins</td></tr><tr><td>Optronic helmet</td><td>+8%</td><td>69</td><td>head</td><td>3,808 Coins</td></tr><tr><td>Electrified gauntlets</td><td>+4%</td><td>41</td><td>hands</td><td>952 Coins</td></tr><tr><td>Anti-gravity boots</td><td>+7%</td><td>62</td><td>feet</td><td>2,915 Coins</td></tr><tr><td>Laser gun</td><td>+13%</td><td>103</td><td>weapon</td><td>10,055 Coins</td></tr></tbody></table>

### Special

Special offers Gadgets and consumables you can buy regardless of your current Rank. The Jetpack and Personal Ray Shield equip in the belt slot, while Red Boar and Lava Lux are consumable boosts you use up as you play.

### Landfill

Landfill lets you dump items that have dropped to 30% or less of their durability. Dumping unequips and destroys the item, refunding coins based on how much durability it still had — for example, dumping an equipped Optronic helmet at 12/69 durability (17.4%) refunds 662 Coins.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://planetary-defense-guide.gitbook.io/guide/discord-game/shop.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
