# Loadout

Your equipped gear, NFT bonuses, and Altar Relics, and where you manage or swap them.

Opening Loadout from your Profile brings up a summary of your equipped gear, your NFT Bonuses, and the Altar Relics you've obtained by praying at the Altar, and confirms whether any Red Boar bonus you've bought from the Shop is currently active.

At the top, Equipment shows how many of your 6 slots are filled and the Success bonus they add, plus your Set bonus if enough of your equipped pieces belong to the same set (for example, a complete Tier 3 set). Below that, NFT Bonuses lists the bonus-granting NFTs you currently have staked. Altar Relics shows the Relics you've been granted by praying at the Altar, each with its remaining uses — for example, successful missions left for a mission coin bonus, or minted items left for a mint discount — together with a menu to pause or resume them: a paused Relic keeps its remaining charges and is never spent while paused. If you've bought a Red Boar from the Shop, its status (ON or OFF) and its effect are shown here as well.

Two buttons below the summary, Equipment and NFT Bonuses, open the sections described below.

### Equipment

Opening Equipment lists your active loadout, one item per slot — Weapon, Head, Armor, Hands, Feet, and Gadget— together with each item's remaining durability and the bonus it grants. Only equipped items count toward your stats and lose durability, and your Set bonus is shown here too whenever enough of your equipped pieces belong to the same set.

Manage a slot lets you pick a slot to open its detail screen, showing the item currently equipped there and every other item you own for that slot, so you can swap between them or unequip the slot entirely. This is how you choose between two items that fill the same slot but grant different effects — for example, if you own both a Personal Ray Shield (+5% to the Mission Success Rate) and a Jetpack (halves mission time) for your Gadget slot, only one can be equipped at a time, and Manage a slot is where you switch between them.

Equip a full set lets you equip every piece of a specific set in one action, instead of swapping each slot individually.

Back returns to the Loadout summary. If you own a Red Boar, a toggle button shows its current status (ON or OFF) and lets you turn it on or off. Landfill opens the screen described below.

#### Landfill

Landfill lets you get rid of gear that's nearly worn out: only items with 30% or less durability remaining can be dumped. Dumping an item unequips and permanently destroys it, and refunds coins based on how much durability it had left — this is the way to clear out badly damaged equipment before buying a replacement. The screen lists every item you currently have below that threshold; pick one from the dropdown to dump it. From here you can also jump to Profile, Shop, or back to Equipment.

### NFT Bonuses

NFT Bonuses shows every bonus-granting NFT from your connected WAX wallet, grouped by category — Pets, Red Boar, and Lava Lux — with the wallet address shown at the top and a gallery of your NFT images below. From here you can also swap which NFT is active in each category, replacing it with another one from your WAX inventory.

Choosing a category — for example, Pets — opens its own screen listing every NFT you own in it together with the bonus each one grants (Chronowyrm gives +8.5% mission success rate and Nebulon +7.3%, for instance). Use the Select NFT to activate menu to pick which one should be active.

Note: swapping some NFTs, such as your Lava Lux, doesn't apply immediately — the change only takes effect at the next daily reset.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://planetary-defense-guide.gitbook.io/guide/discord-game/loadout.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
